According to general information, the socket should also support the upcoming Ryzen 4000 generation. However, BIOS updates would be necessary for this. Does anyone know how this usually works? If you buy a board together with a CPU that is not yet supported by the BIOS, do you get a BIOS update at all?

The most common way to flash the BIOS https://youtu.be/G2QKlWpfXf...

ASUS boards offer another variant called BIOS Flashback where you don't even have to enter the BIOS, which should also work without a CPU.
