After installing the D-Link D-View software on the PC and starting the "Main Console", I cannot enter a password. Leaving it blank (according to the BA "admin" and leave the PWD field blank) does not work, even though it is freshly installed - my D-Link password does not work either. Uninstalling and reinstalling also does nothing. Anybody got any ideas?

hoi. only use the iOS app. first had to create an account at dlink.com. then also enter this in the app, greetings and good luck/fun :)

Was able to solve the problem. My antivirus detected a crytominer in the software .... on the DVD from DLINK ... (?!)
I then downloaded the software directly from the DLink support site and installed it. Everything went right away, including the login. I was then able to make the settings in the MainConsole. But it only works with InternetExplorer - the old one. Now everything is ok.
