An update on delivery times would be appropriate. It's not the first time I've seen Digitec announce a delivery date but then neither honour it nor provide information. And don't blame the manufacturers - Digitec needs to get a better grip on logistics and communication here.

Helpful answer

Fuji Switzerland replied to me yesterday - "In stock" will not be anywhere in the near future. They also write "If you order today, you have a waiting time of 3-4 months (as of today). Some in CH have already received the camera and are selling it at euphoric prices on other platforms because they have ordered several. I do not recommend buying them under any circumstances. And if you're in a hurry - there are still great deals on the X100V available :-)

Many suppliers have changed the delivery date from March to unknown. In my case, Digitec says the delivery date is the beginning of May

Probably digitec doesn't know anything about it either.
According to other suppliers, they don't know when Fuji will deliver and how many devices there will be.
I assume digitec have given a far off date in the hope of having the orders fulfilled by then, rather than trying to guess when and how many devices will be delivered.

Are there any updates for 2025? Or will the delivery date be accelerated if I already make a purchase? Thx

This is not due to digitec but to Fujifilm, which is being or has been completely overrun once again.

Rumour has it that production capacity has been doubled from 7500 X100V to 15,000 X100VI per month.
But even 15,000 is not really that many...
