Anyone else with RGB LEDs that don't have RED?

I bought these LEDs and when I started Aura on my ASUS Z270F (RGB LEDs connected via Phanteks adapter) the LEDs shine in beautiful green and blue but when I try to use RED it is just an ugly mix of blue and green and looks really bad. Meanwhile I use green, but I wanted red light, or red orange, but that doesn't seem to work.

LEDs defective?
Wrong installation?

Additional info: 4 RGB LED strips are connected to each other, with the Phanteks RGB LED adapter connected directly to the mainboard. (Nothing worked with the Phanteks LED controller, or I couldn't connect it at all, it was also described in the instructions that you should remove the one in the Phanteks case and connect it directly to the mainboard with the adapter.

The control system etc. works perfectly, except that the LEDs are not red.
