As a tip to all those who buy an AM4 processor and cannot get into the BIOS when starting it. UPDATE or FLASH the BIOS. Afterwards it recognises all products and starts normally.
I can confirm that I could not get into the BIOS unflashed. After a backflash BIOS update with the current version, I did not need to remove any components. The UEFI appeared, I could make the changes there and then install the OS.
I wish I could confirm it that way. Meanwhile, after buying a USB keyboard and after Bios Flash twice, first verse 2802, that's when I first got into Bios. It recognised the external drive, even the model. It recognised the HDD and the two NVMe SSDs, all from WDC, but not as bootable. No LED on either the drive or the case came on. The board was always stuck with error code 06 = microcode loading. Flashed a second time with the last released version 3001 from 4 Dec. Now even the LED on the enclosure for the HD came on in the post. The model name from the external drive was gone again. When I pressed the button for the drawer, I experienced for the first time how a Bios hangs. So I switched it off and on again. After activating CSM, the LED from the drive also lit up. So now I could insert the Win. DVD. Let's see how far I get and whether the bios stabilises. What's striking is that the X570 E is the only ASUS board with an X570 chipset that comes with a pure USB 3.2, 2nd gen. configuration on the back. Even the big boards from the Crosshair series all still have blue USB interfaces. I think that's the reason for the bios problems. In addition, I bought my X 570 E a year ago. I installed it in a Thermaltake case, the Level 20 GT Black Edition. I will post my experiences with the case in question.
