I had the same problem. To install the firmware, go to Advanced -> System -> Maintenance in the configuration menu. There you can select the firmware file under "Remote Upgrade". This firmware is available at http://www.trendnet.com/support... If no file window appears after clicking on "Search", as was the case for me with the Chrome browser, try another browser. If you have selected the file, the new firmware will be played automatically. The next time you access the webcam in the browser, the dialogue will appear in which you can change the default password. Cumbersome but feasible.

My Fritzbox does not recognise this camera at all. I cannot change the password during the initial installation.
Then I wanted to read out the IP address but my Fritzbox can't find anything and my IP scanner can't find anything either.
Who can help me? Is the camera defective?
