ATTENTION, Synology does not have a sensible licence management. If the NAS breaks down, the licences are gone, they are not stored in your account, I have just had the painful experience myself.

I had absolutely no problems transferring the licences from the old NAS to the new one! Both NAS must be or have been logged in!

The licences are backed up via the Synology account so that if the NAS is defective, they can still be reactivated. If you have not connected the account to the old NAS, there is not much more you can do.
