Can an external hard drive (lacie rugged) also be attached with usb c and the data opened and edited like on the mac? Can the stylus from the first generation (round) also be used? Thanks

I have attached an SSD to it several times and it works (but a Samsung, not a LaCie). I can't say anything about the second part of the question, I have the new stylus.
