I have it running in a mostly open case and can't detect any coil whine. However, I have turned it down to 60% TDP because I already achieve my FPS for the Hz clock of the monitor with G-Sync.

At 141fps (limited to max. screen frequency -3), I can hear a quiet coil beep when I listen from about 30cm. So far everything is normal and barely audible. It could get louder at higher frequencies.
I operate the card at 80% power consumption without any loss of performance.

Here under full load always in VR with 30FPS. I can't hear anything.
