Whether the camera is compatible with Synology must first be checked. There are only two licences free of charge, which is not exactly generous. I have generally had bad experiences with the performance of Surveillance Station. For Unifi camera, Unifi Surv. is recommended.

I have now bought 3 cameras and tested them in Surveillance. They are recognised. Update the firmware to the latest version and then set them up as standalone. In Surveillance with Custom and via RTSP it works. However, only with low or medium resolution. High does not work.
