Can I connect a NAS (QNAP) to it? This would save me the monthly subscription service for the cloud because recordings of potential burglars are then not only on the local SD card but also on my NAS (to which I have access via VPN)

The TP-Link Tapo C425 KIT network camera is not directly compatible with a NAS (Network Attached Storage) such as a QNAP to automatically store recordings on it. Here are the key points:
- The camera stores recordings on a microSD card (up to 512 GB).
- There is also the option to store recordings via the Tapo Care cloud service, but no native support for direct storage on a NAS.
- There is no official documentation or support from TP-Link for connecting the Tapo C425 KIT to a NAS for automatic storage of recordings.
If you want to save the recordings to your NAS, you may need to use a manual solution or third-party software that supports this function, but this is not covered by the camera's standard functions.
Can I use the camera with the Apple Home application?
What is the reason for the number of second-hand c425 cameras? This worries me a bit and I'm still hesitating.
