I tested the hotspot function under Windows 10 with release of the LAN Internet connection with my integrated wireless adapter from the laptop and a smartphone. I was able to easily connect the smartphone to the hotspot created on the laptop and use the internet connection. In principle, this should work with any wireless adapter.
