Can I send the picture via HDMI to the beamer on the one hand and the sound synchronously via the existing RCA output to an amplifier on the other?

As far as we know, picture AND sound are transmitted via HDMI. I am not sure what happens if a second audio output is connected to the unit. Normally this should send all audio signals to all outputs. Whether this really corresponds to the fact ... I have an almost similar construction. I connected a media box to the TV via HDMI and connected an amplifier from the TV via the headphone output. Then some configuration on the TV and it worked.
