Can the height of the backpack be reduced depending on the luggage situation? It is about whether it would fit in hand luggage with a maximum height of 50 cm despite its stated 56 cm.
I briefly measured my copy: the fixed frame of the back is 49 cm long. So if the backpack or the lid pocket is not completely full, it should fit.
