Since the firmware update to version 1.75, Sony's PS4 game console can play 3D Blu-ray films. Current version 5.05.
That's why it works with any TV that can still do 3D. I have the Sony KD-75X9405C with 4 Sony TDG-BT500A Active Glasses and it works perfectly.
