Can the speakers also be connected to a Sennheiser GSX-1000 to use them as PC speakers? Or would it be better to buy a real amp?

I don't recommend that. With a bit of luck, a sound might come out :) But since the impedance of the GSX-1000 headphone amplifier is 16-150 ohms, and the speakers are 8 ohms, it could quickly get a bit scorched.

I recommend a proper hi-fi amplifier for the speakers with at least 50 W. If your motherboard has an optical output, an amplifier with an optical input would be ideal.
