Question about Synology DS220+
Can this device be connected to the local network via the Swisscom Internetbox 3 using RJ45? PS: Swisscom recently informed me that it is not possible to connect an external hard drive to their Internetbox via USB.

Should work, I connected my Synology to the WLAN BOX 3. In my opinion, Swisscom means hard drives that are connected via USB. A NAS is connected via Rj45 aka Ethernet and thus runs over the internet. I hope this answers your question :)
