Can this product boot os Mojave on mac pro 5.1? Thanks.

Hello,
thank you for your inquiry.
The Samsung 980 PCIe® 3.0 NVMe™ M.2 SSD - 500 GB MZ-V8V500BW is not compatible with a MacBook Pro5.1.
This SSD requires the motherboard to have an M.2 slot.
In order to use the full performance of the SSD, the M.2 slot should also have PCIe 3.0 with 4 lanes.
As alternatives, you can take a look at the Samsung SSDs 870 QVO, 870 EVO and 860 PRO.

I can only affirm it boots and works seamlessly on my Mac Mini 2014 with Monterrey, never tried other MacOS release
