Can this router use the SFP+ port for WAN and use the XGS-PON fiber connection with Swisscom & Sunrise to avoid their basic router ? Or we are forced to use the official router and define the DMZ port for the Asus router ? Maybe there are some VLAN ID tagging on the WAN (SFP+) port ? Thank you :-)

Yes. You can connect the SFP+ to the router port. But you would need to configure the router to match the requirements from the operator.
I have mine connected to Swisscom and it works flawlessly.
