As far as I know, there are two networks, but they can be controlled via an app.
The cameras can be charged by cable if necessary.

Exactly, each Homebase sets up its own network and each camera is connected to exactly one Homebase. Although all cameras can then be viewed in the app, regardless of the Homebase to which they are connected, automations (e.g. "record with all cameras when one of the cameras detects movement") are only ever possible within one Homebase. All of my Homebases are connected to the LAN by cable (I have 3 of them at the start).
