Insert the SIM card and make calls like with a mobile phone... it's a kind of bigger mobile phone...

With a device without a SIM card, it is not possible to make calls in the conventional way. However, it is possible via Skype or similar providers.

I was told that the version with SIM card needs a headset to make calls.
