Could it be that this motherboard has a problem with Windows 7? USB inputs (mouse/keyboard) are not recognised by Windows 7. Even a completely new Windows installation setup during the boot process does not respect the inputs. PS/2 inputs do not work either, or are probably not switched on in the bios, which raises the question: Where to set this?

The mainboard is not suitable for Windows 7. See manufacturer's page -> Specifications -> Operating system -> https://www.asus.com/de...

Note on the side: The Corsair Strafe keyboard is not recognised in the bios, but a 0815 USB keyboard is - that's probably the problem. However, both work when Windoof 10 is started. There is no option in the bios to switch PS/2 on/off.
