Dear Community, I am trying to play a DVD with the ZenDrive SDRW-0807M-U, the PC recognises it, but I cannot play it. Could it be because my 2.40 GHz processor is insufficient? Thanks for your help.

I can hardly imagine that. With a DVD, it could also be due to the region code, a kind of protection against copies.
Is the DVD possibly not from Europe?
These are the formats that the drive can read: DVD-ROMi, DVD-Ri, DVD+Ri, DVD-RWi, DVD+RW.
It works perfectly on a Mac Book Pro for me.

It's certainly not the CPU, but rather a missing or corrupted codec. Try VLC, it has everything you need for median playback.
