Do several devices work together as a repeater? I.e. is the power not sufficient for the entire cable length (230 V AC mains)? Can the signal be transmitted by means of an additional 3rd device plugged into the centre? Thanks in advance

The range via power cable is 300m, which is three times as far as Cat 6. If you need a longer distance, we are talking about industrial applications and you would probably be better off with fibre optics. Quite apart from the fact that you certainly don't have a 300m 240V power cable, which would have to be approx. 23mm^2 in diameter. The standard is 1.5mm^2.
