The speaker's impedance is 8 ohms. As long as this is above the recommended impedance for the AV receiver, operation is not a problem. Therefore, it will work.
The speaker can handle up to 340W, but continuous power is 85W. So it can handle 85W of power for a (random) long time without any problems. That means, if you don't want to listen for hours at the highest volume, there should be no (or hardly any) wear. My amplifier can also handle 100W per channel, which hasn't been a problem so far, but I haven't really used it to its full potential.
