Do you know if I can use this router without going through the modem of my M-Budget operator (which blocks any configuration via its modem)?

The TP-Link I use as an extension (repeater). The TP-Link Wifi picks up the signal from my main Swisscom modem and broadcasts it to the rest of the house not covered by the Swisscom box. The answer is NO.
