Question about ASUS Rog Crosshair Viii Dark Hero

Does anyone else have the problem that when the PC is shut down (Windows - Shutdown), it can no longer be switched on (via the case)? It can only be switched on if the PC is completely disconnected from the power supply, e.g. via a switched socket or power strip. I noticed it more by chance because I have the PC on a switched socket and never actually shut down and then restart it. In the evening, I switch the socket off via SmartHome. But there are threads in the Asus forum that are full of them. Not only with the Dark Hero. Most of them talk about unsuccessful RMAs. Especially since you have to send it in and wouldn't have a board in that time. Even if you switch off the switched socket or power strip and then switch it on again within seconds, it still doesn't work. You effectively have to wait in a de-energised state until the white LED on the button on the board goes out.

Yes, I have also had this problem. I use a switched power strip - accordingly, I didn't notice anything for a long time.

I also have a Linux on the computer - but that makes no difference. IMHO, this is more a problem with the board than with the operating system.
