Does anyone know if the HP Flex IO network module is compatible with the HP Pro Mini 400 G9? If so, does it increase the transfer speed or is the limit still 1 Gbs? Basically there would be a 10 GB line available, which I can't use at the moment.

Unfortunately, according to HP, the module is not compatible with the requested model. According to HP, the following options are available for the Flex Port on the HP Pro Mini 400 G9:
Optional ports: Flex IO Port 2 - one of the following options: 2 USB 2.0 Type-A 480Mbps, 1 serial, 1 second external antenna port; 
Flex IO Port 1 - one of the following options: 1 VGA,1 serial,1 DisplayPort™ 1.4,1 HDMI 2.1,1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® with10Gbps transfer rate (100W PowerIntake, Alt Mode DisplayPort™)
