Does anyone know if the NAS also works with the M Budget router? The router looks the same as the one from Swisscom (was also supplied by Swisscom), only it says M Bidget on it and you have fewer configuration options. But basically, can I connect the NAS to a free LAN port on the router and then use it in the network? For remote access, only QuickConnect from Synology would be an option, as the M Budget router does not allow port forwarding, etc.

Hoi and Yes, if you have a free LAN port (RJ45) on the router, you can connect it to the NAS.
Personally, however, I recommend entering/assigning a fixed IP to the NAS. Whether and how you can then access it "remotely" with M-Budget router and Quickconnect, I wouldn't know off the top of my head - best to ask in their (M-Budget) community if it didn't work... LG
