It is a player, not a recorder! You cannot record anything with it. The specification "1GB", and also in the technical data "Memory: hard disk, 1GB" is unfortunately incorrect and misleading. Not only digitec, but also other shops write this. But of course this device has NO hard drive memory. It certainly has internal memory, but you can't access it. The "1GB" is something completely different, as you can see in the operating instructions: if you want to use BD-Live content, the player needs network/Internet access and a connected memory with at least 1GB free space at the USB port.
