Does the "Sony Cyber-shot DSC RX100 V" take better photos than this camera here? Looking for the perfect travel camera which is not too big.

Helpful answer

Of course not, the RX100 V only has a 1" sensor and plays in a different league. The quality of the lenses also plays an important role, whereby the 16-50 already takes really good pictures. The 6300 is a really great camera which I can highly recommend. You can find useful test reports on the Internet.

I'd lean more towards a 6300 because of the larger sensor and lens change. Review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch
