Does the tripod really weigh 2 kilos? That can't be the case with such a small carbon tripod. It's certainly a mistake. I would order it, but many aluminium tripods are lighter at two kilos.

Of course not. That is including packaging. You can get the exact details from the manufacturer. Gitzo is the best you can buy in this area. And the price is a bargain. It costs over 1000 Fr. elsewhere. Weight is 1.45 kg incl. head.
Unfortunately, the specifications here in the shop are inadequate. There is no other way to put it.
