Does this cable achieve the 2.5Gbit/s in practice, which is brought to one connection of the Swisscom Itnernetbox 3? The cable is specified as a 1Gbit/s cable, but somewhere in the description it says online that the cable should reach this speed when rolled out....whatever that means.

The question should rather be, does your Swisscombox 3 reach a speed of 2.5Gbit/s? The answer is no. And even if it does reach 2.5Gbit/s, there are hardly any network adapters on devices (PC, TV box, etc.) that allow more than 1Gbit/s through. Therefore, this cable should definitely meet your requirements. As an additional piece of information, since it is a copper cable, the speed tends to decrease rather than increase over a certain length. Therefore, the cable should not be too long.
