According to the manual from AsRock, the mainboard has an AM4 socket, just like the CPU. This should actually not be a problem. There are also two M.2 slots on the mainboard.

I bought the same motherboard and it runs with a Ryzen 5 3600. lg

The mainboard did not work with my Ryzen 5 3600 processor. However, there was a sticker on the package with "Ryzen 5 3xxx Ready". I didn't have the option of a BIOS update, as you need a different processor for this. In the AsRock forum there are almost 1000 posts about the problem with people complaining and looking for solutions.
