Does this motherboard need all three power connectors (24 pin, 8 pin as well as 4 pin CPU)? If so, am I correct in assuming that this power supply ( https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-rog-thor-850p-850w-pc-netzteil-9966913 ) does not have enough connections for this?

The EATX12V_2 connection is optional. It is only needed if the CPU really needs a lot of power. E.g. extreme overclocking. The 24pin (EATXPWR) and the 8pin (EATX12V_1) are usually sufficient.
