Doesn't it work for a DS220+? Unfortunately, it's not on the list.

DS220+ does not work. Only with
Series 23:DS923+, DS723+
Series 22:RS422+, DS1522+
(as of today^^).

I cannot judge whether the statement about the minimum software version is really true:
