For motion detection: Does the camera record a short film or just a photo or both? Can the white light be switched off completely?

Helpful answer
Whether only image or video is a matter of NVR settings. The white light can be deactivated in the front end of the camera... A side note: A free, plug&play open source NVR is still hard to find. If anyone here has a tip I would be grateful.

According to our information, a video is recorded when motion is detected. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify whether the white light can be completely switched off.
