Question about Seagate Backup Plus Hub

Game storage for Xbox one s? I would like to use the hard drive for the Xbox one s as external game storage. However, it says that such a hard disk only works if it does NOT run via a HUB. I now assume that the Xbox will accept this hard drive, only an additional one via the HUB would then no longer work. Is this correct? Thanks for info!!!

The hard drive works on the Xbox One S as well as on the One X via an active USB 3.0 hub.
An additional external hard drive is also recognised without problems via the integrated USB hub on the Backup Plus.
