Question about Acer Predator Connect X7 5G CPE
Good day Does the 5G router only work with Sunrise sim card (have taken from other source/reviews)? Can it happen with this router that it always loses the SIM PIN code and has to be entered again? I got this info from other users on the cheaper Acer 5G router. Which router is better (Xiaomi 5G CPE Pro vs Acer Predator Connect X7 5G CPE): when comparing download/upload speed, connection stability and Wi-Fi performance? Thanks for the information.

I have a Swisscom Sim and it also works. Speed is OK for me but it will depend on your area coverage.
Xiaomi is Wifi 6 and the Acer is Wifi 7 with triple band.
Additional info: With an additional network switch, I was able to connect my NAS and access it via the internet as before. A super, high-performance 5G router and I have no problems with the 5G connection. Currently very satisfied. However, there are 2 disadvantages: 1. according to the manufacturer's specifications, this consumes 48W of power (a bit high for me personally) compared to Xiaomi CPE 5G PRO = 12W // 2. the WiFi signal strength is a bit weak, i.e. at a distance of approx. 6m and 2 walls in between I only have 1-2 WiFi strokes (normally max. 4 strokes), but the performance is still OK (approx. 60Mbit/s download). With 4 bars I get 180 Mbit/s download in the same period. I hope I can help you with this information in your purchase decision.
My X7 works with the Galaxus Mobile SIM. This also runs via the Sunrise network. I have not tested other SIM cards.
Yes, the SIM pin has to be re-entered after every restart. I will remove the pin from the SIM card when I get the chance.
I can't compare it with other routers.
The Wi-Fi is stable and fast.
Our 5G reception is poor, so I can't say anything about the speed of the router.
