I got the stuff for my new PC yesterday, including this nice piece... my first M2! I mounted it on a MSI MEG X570 UNIFY but now I'm standing like a donkey on a hill and the MB doesn't recognise it! what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the prompt reply!
The MB is not really long on the market but I will certainly look today whether there is a more current version. Right the board has 3 but if I understand the instructions correctly are all 3 the same, First I had the SSD in the middle, because the middle and the bottom fit nicely in length. have now screwed it into the top. could adjust the length with the supplied screws. 
Is it possible that the hard disk is defective? everything should already fit from the specs, right?

You may need to update your motherboard to the latest version. (Bios update)
Or you have mounted the m.2 on the wrong slot. Your motherboard has 3 slots.
