Got the thing today and wanted to put it into operation straight away, as we recently had an incident in the house. Unfortunately, it didn't work as desired. The camera just wouldn't connect to the wifi via the Aqara. Now I'm not the super expert, but at least I tried it with different bandwidth settings. Unfortunately it didn't work. But it could also be due to my rather weak wifi (UPC 300). I have subscribed to Salt's fibre-optic internet, but unfortunately it hasn't been switched on yet. Any tips or experiences on how I might still get the hub working, even with the current internet? The situation doesn't necessarily have to be better with the much better internet, because the part obviously has its weaknesses. Thanks for all the hints and tips.
The Aqara Hub G3 doesn’t have Ethernet cable connection. It does have WiFi dual band instead 2.4 and 5 Ghz.The camera works with Apple HomeKit and Alexa (simultaneously) connected to 2.4 GHz WiFi in my mesh Eero configuration. You should try perhaps hiding either one protocol e.g. 5GHz to ease the connectivity issue. My 2c
The connection worked for me without any problems. Simply follow the operating instructions step by step! I am very satisfied with the part.....
Hello, the camera works fine for me. I have connected it by cable and not with wifi.
