GPS is listed in the specifications of the version without G5. Can anyone confirm that location tracking in applications like Navionics or GoogleMaps work in the version without G5. In the past, you had to buy the version with GSM for GPS to work because it was on the same chip...or is that still the case?

Was that in the digitec specifications? But I tested it earlier and the GPS app refused to load on the iPad without Sim. In the specifications it explicitly says with cellular.
