I have 2 of these discs and the same problems. When backing up to a hard drive with Acronis, the disc can no longer be read, the backup hangs. Then I wanted to create a clone with a second, identical XS2000 (Acronis and Aomei) and on two different computers. The new disc (target) was no longer recognised after a short time, and then nothing worked at all.

That's really strange, because I suddenly got exactly the same problem. Disconnect for no reason and it got worse from time to time and now a backup is no longer possible at all. Unfortunately I have to have it replaced. PS: I can't run it through diagnostics.

Hello
If possible, I would try another (possibly older) computer. If you are unlucky, even the very latest hardware/software combination can contain errors.
There have also been mainboards that had disconnects with certain USB connections and otherwise worked perfectly.
Good luck.
