Hello, according to the app, this cam requires the HomeBase from eufy. Does it work without the HomeBase from eufy? Thank you!

I have loaded the Apo. The message "HomeBase required" appears under "Add device".
That's done anyway. Device is useless.

According to research and forum posts, the HomeBase is not a must for use.
