Hello all, Does anyone operate this in AP mode with backhaul via Ethernet? My current system, the RBK50 set, can also do this, but the management is then mega tedious, because the app no longer works and the router does not see its satellites, so I have to upgrade the satellites separately via s'WebUI, for example, with a new firmware.
With RBK53 you have to connect the system differently in AP mode. The "Internet port" on RBR50 and RBS50 must remain free and the cable for Ethernet backhaul must go into one of the remaining three plugs. Then your mesh should work properly and the router should see the satellites. FW updates should then also work normally, although if it works once then just stay away, Netgear only breaks things with FW updates.
With SXK80 it is different, there Ethernet Backhaul always goes over the 2.5G Internet Port (or 1G Port 1 if so configured in the Admin) but with me the system did not work cleanly until I assigned a static IP address to all satellites. Classic Netgear, software they ship their products with is extremely poor.

I have connected it in the route node and via backhaul, which works perfectly (after two setups). However, I cannot provide any information on AP mode.
Only have mesh without Ethernet, but FW upgrades are not (yet) problem-free!
