Hello all I have only 1 LAN port in a room and no power connections near the port. Can this switch be powered via an RJ45 cable? The aim is to supply 2 devices in the room with internet. Only internet is necessary for the devices, no POE is possible for the end devices. The end devices have an independent power supply. Thank you very much if you can answer the question :)

Hi RobiiJohner
Yes, the switch can be supplied with power via POE. However, this must be supported by your switch/router, otherwise there is usually nothing wrong with it.

Alternative suggestion:
How about a coupling piece? Then you pull the cable to where there is power, then you connect a switch there :)
z. e.g. the Wirewin coupling RJ-45 (S/FTP, Cat. 6a)
