hello all I have the following mainboard: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-rog-maximus-xii-apex-lga-1200-intel-z490-atx-mainboard-13122488?supplier=406802 do i need a ssd with a cooler and if so, is there still room for my graka above it?

No, you don't need a cooler. It works without a problem. Check the mainboard manual.
