To use the full performance of the SSD, the M.2 slot should have PCIe 3.0 with 4 lanes.

Yes, but this is an ancient PCIe Gen3 SSD and 500 GB sizes last less time and are slower. My recommendation would be a TB, e.g. these are PCIe Gen4:
