Hello can you add more than three TP-Link Deco M5 AC1300 sets of 3 or is the system only designed for 3 pieces with this system no cabling is necessary ?

You can add up to 6 devices in a Deco Mesh network with Wi-Fi 5 models like this one, even if the set consists of 3 units. The system is therefore not limited to just three devices.

The Deco M5 AC1300 set of 3 works wirelessly in the mesh, cabling between the units is not mandatory as it uses Wi-Fi backhaul. Ethernet backhaul is optional and can improve performance, but is not a requirement.
