Hello Community, I have a Salt FiberX6 box with the extender (via LAN) from Salt and it works really badly. The devices (mobile phone, etc.) always get stuck at the last "AP" no matter how unusable the connection quality is.... Would it be advisable to throw the extender in the bin, deactivate the WLAN from the router and instead buy two Ubiquiti APs and connect them to the network via LAN? Does anyone have any experience with this? Which model would be recommended, or is there anything to consider? Thanks already :)

This is a good idea and should prevent any more WLAN problems. Please note that a controller is required to configure the Ubiquiti APs, which you can either buy as hardware (called Cloud Key) or download as software and install in a VM. A controller can manage multiple devices.
